I know people were probably kind of thrown off by a comment I said, "Stop playing video games. Read more books." But the explanation is clear. I just needed that original post to be able to screen shot it and then post it to my other social media accounts. So, this is not out of spite towards video games. The opposite, in fact. I grew up with the original Nintendo system, and I have played every single system ever since. But this comes from a place of anger and love. Love meaning I have played what there is to play. I don't see video games making it as long as SJW"s keep running the industry. I don't see video games lasting if they are going to ruin what made video games great. But also hatred. Try asking politely for a video game system, as my audience loves video games. I realize that we are in a different age. I see the appeal of video games, as I grew up with them. But try asking XBOX for a free system when all the big titty POC females use there skin color and gender as an excuse to get a free system. It's not fair but I understand. Their's more money in giving it away to people who virtue signal about there disability and skin color. (Although try doing that as long as you're white, you're never going to get a free system). So, why did I write that post? It's because I review books, movies', and video games. I run a business. If a business is not going to provide a system for a businessman like myself, why should I ever give my money to video games ever again? I won't give my money to people who hate me and they won't see me as a viable asset to their company. I get the counter argument "they have to make money too" but my argument is "if you don't consider all types of reviewers, including me, and countless others, why would I want to give you money?" Doesn't it sicken people every day when companies won't honor the reviewer and creator who wants to expand his business, instead of a virtue signaling POS who will use there skin color and gender as an excuse to get a free system. I guess this is why I said this post. I can't force people to buy books. I know that too. Maybe I just enjoy trolling a little too much. If you were offended, fine. I guess the point is, video games are now for elitists, and not for the average player and reviewer like myself. I create art anyway so I don't really need video games anymore. I don't really read comics that much unless they are older. But does this make me a boomer? I wish it did. If I am a boomer, I will take living in a cabin in the woods anyway over what nightmarish prospect is going to end up being as a choice of entertainment today. I would gladly cut off streaming services (if you can steal it, as many do). The confirmation of my bias is not out of spite, but out of love. Also, books are cheaper. Plus, you can read into books all you want, or not, or go crazy with it. That's why I love books. Books create the world in your mind. That's why I love books. As Jim Morrison said "When Play dies it becomes the game," so it's not out of spite, but if you can't play the game, it means death for me.
