A topic I plan to do a show in 2022:
In the King James Bible #kjv #kjvbible the Word " #christian " is only appeared 2 times and " #christians " once - all in the #newtestament
Please no discussions yet, I just want to lay the foundation for next year's show, something that needs some serious study & thought! As a called Preacher/Teacher, I am fully responsible before the #godhead to declare the whole counsel of #god & rightly divide the #wordoftruth!
And when he (#barnabas) had found him (#saul, later named Paul), he brought him unto #antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
#acts 26:28 Then #agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
Please note & keep this in mind until I do that show, #acts is a #history Book, from #law to #grace, from #peter to #paul.
#1peter 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
Peter wrote his Epistles to Jewish/Hebrew Messianic Believers before 70 AD when General Titus Destroyed Jerusalem & the Temple.
Peter was at the Jewish/Messianic Church in Babylon while this was written (Remember 606 BC #nebuchadnezzar of #babylon sacked #judah/#benjamin and the remaining 10 Tribes that escaped #Assyria's sacking of the Northern Tribes in 721 BC as there were a lot of Jews in Babylon; remember Daniel was 1 of them taken (Daniel 1:6) and John Mark was with Peter at the time of Peter's 1st Epistle 5:13)
